Festivals

Performance Festivals are great events where we go to discover the latest performers, new talent, fresh ideas and reconnect with some of our favorite artists. Festivals are also ideal for artists to experiment, present and promote themselves to a wider audience than they normally have access to and that is really what creates the effervescent feeling we get at a festival.

I had all these ideas and more running through my mind as I co-creating the Aerial acrobatics Art Festival with Ms. Coleman which attracted not only some amazing performers but also generated a new cultural event in Denver that ran for 5 consecutive years. Above all else it was the pleasure of working with the performers and to see that their experience with the festival offered them a window on new possibilities which many of them went on to turn into doors to unanticipated opportunities.
